The Red Wasp sounds great but it is darn hard to play softly. It is stretched tight. Super realistic sounds, but loud.

Haven't bought calls in years, prior to that Woodhaven were my go to, really consistent and lasted.

I would take Gooserbat up on his offer though! I know of some stories of the owner donig the things hoobilly talked about.

I always thought the guy was a jerk. If you aren’t humble, if your arrogant, a prick, you won’t get a dime from me I don’t care what your calls sound like. Their diaphragms got way to inconsistent anyway. What’s with the bugs and ninja’s anyway?

Do you make youth sizes? I have a narrow pallet and those are the only ones that fit me.

I will say their customer service is good. Bought a crystal call because firedup had one that sounded fantastic. Mine went flat after a few months. Don’t know why. They said ship it back. Sent me a new one one the pro staffer handpicked and had Pentecost sign for me.
But like others, I’ve moved from their calls due to some inconsistent ones I have bought in the past three years.

Idk bout woodhaven never used there calls and only person I know on here from Virginia is Ricky but from what I’ve seen hunting the public guys are alright. Idk them personally or never met them but watched a few of there vids. What’s wrong with them. Maybe I haven’t seen. Can ya explain.

I can not run their mouth calls, others like them. The other calls I handled were ll decent calls, but cost to much IMO

I was in the market for a waterproof “slate”. I call everything that uses a striker a slate. I looked at the woodhaven prices and thought they are giving too many calls to THP for me to pay a Benjamin and some Jackson’s for a call. I bought a waterproof crystal over glass? With slate on bottom call from JT calls. I can’t imagine getting a better call for the price. I’d use a woodhaven if it was free but I paid 50 bucks for the JT and it will probably last until turkey hunting is a memory.

I agree woodhaven about the most inconsistent calls I’ve ever tried. Also agree they’re too proud of em. Way overpriced. Much better calls for less
