16 ga 870 with Eotech

Just got my rig back from the smith. He did a great job adding a rail to my 16 ga. I took it home and put the Eotech on it. Sight lines up perfect for this raises Sureshot stock. It’s ugly to look at, but this sight provides the best window for my liking of any of the red dot type sights

I have a 12ga 870 Super Mag with the same stock. My barrel is shorter and gas rifle sights. I’m looking to add a scope rail and a Holosun 510C circle dot sight. My receiver is not drilled and tapped. I was worried the sight would be too high but after seeing yours I think I’ll be ok!

I actually like the higher mount with this stock. Keeps the cheek bustin down.

I sold the Eotech 512 though. I’m trying to trim some weight and I did not like the circle dot reticle. Too busy for me. I bought an Eotech eflx red dot because it has no reflective coating and heavy build on the cover.
