Has anyone ever tried to use this as a turkey gun? It would be a remarkably compact rig given its 18.5" barrel and that it takes Invector Choke tubes you might could get a good pattern?
Sure would be a fun build!

With the right choke/shell combo I don't see why it wouldn't. I have a 535 Mossberg with a 20" barrel that throws an excellent pattern with 3" Remington Nitro Turkey #5 at 30-35 yards.

I think It would be a great start for a turkey gun. A quick swap of the forearm and a choke. Personally im not s fan of pistol grips but Winchester makes a nice shotgun.

Short barrels like tight chokes. Found a 18” 870 barrel made over the pond and it shoots awesome! .650 Invector shooting 3” LB 6’s…The Fever wrote:Has anyone ever tried to use this as a turkey gun?
