Congrats.
But I’m curious as to why that’s a cull buck. Looks young to me but it may be the pic. Idk.
He is a 3.5 year old. He has never had brows and his relatives have only main beams no points. His dad (we are assuming) is about 6 now with just main beams and one point on the left. None of them gain any mass or points. Great eating though. They all get plump. Only reason he is a cull is essentially we try not to shoot any deer under 3 years old unless they are these guys. I was plenty happy to have him though. I enjoy the hunt not the antlers.
Ahhhh. Ok. I gotcha. Oh yea they eat good. Good job

Yep that definitely needed taken out!
thanks guys. What's also weird about this deer is he never shed his rack, probably why it stayed so thin. Either way yea it was time.

Well you can’t blame Covid for that
Near a nuclear facility???
Major power lines run the length of the property. I am sure that doesn't do them any favors
I'll start hunting mule deer with Isaac on Thursday. It's my annual mule deer rut hunt. I won't pass up a big whitetail but I probably won't hunt a lot of whitetail country.

I’ve seen some good mulies killed on Facebook. Local boys went west to Nebraska and killed 2 good mule deer.
My cousins tore it up yesterday. 10 years ago they had a picture of 3 bucks they all killed the same day. Today they got another picture will 3 they all killed the same day again. Pretty cool!
Hunted a friend's place in KY from Nov 10-13 but didn't get anything. Passed on some small bucks and does but didn't see one I wanted to use a tag on. I may go back for late bow season. Had a blast and love that area as it's vastly different from my home terrain.
Congrats, Brice. You did the knife justice!!
Well done!!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco? I am the man from Nantucket. “Leave the gun, take the cannoli” -Clemensa When attacked by a group of clowns...Go for the Juggler!!
My pleasure! It really is a nice knife. I'm glad you like it. Wicked sharp.

Nice work Brice, looks like it runs in your family. Got some killers in them genes!
Congrats to everyone so far on your harvests. Great to see people taking advantage of the land and animals our lord has provided us with. God bless you all and I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving spent with family and friends.
