301t 20

Post by Chrmayo »

Had one sold it to a friend before turkey season. Got another one on the way. They are a little front end heavy to me. Would it help to lop the barrel off to around 22” and rethread?

I think I've shared pictures on here before, but I might be mistaken. I picked up a 301 20 gauge Compact, before the 301T models were ever released. It's got a 22" barrel from the factory. I did have to drill and tap it for a mount, but I've been happy with the shorter barrel thus far.

What kind of patterns are you getting at 40 yards?
Don't start none, won't be none!

Was this model threaded for chokes? Mind posting another pic of it.

Honestly, I don't remember. The reason I say that is, once I seen what tss would do in a .410, I quit shooting anything other than that. I'll look back through my pictures and see if I saved some of the patterns shots.

It is. The model I got, had no mount, just a bead and was black. I'll see what I can find. Here's a link to the Compact model for now.
