Let us know. I ran a 8x9 TSS 2oz in 12 ga this year and it blew out the pattern on the board. I hunted with it and it killed 4 birds but I think a straight load will get better numbers. I did 1oz 8's and 1oz 9's.

I ran it with Lil Gun and got right around 187/200 on 3 shots in the 10" at 40. The 20" was about the same.

3 toe you may be choking it a little too tight. I get better #'s than that with 1 oz 9's and 5/8 oz 8's out of a 20 gauge. Mine is pretty consistent around 270 in the 10" and about 230 more in the 20", so you should be able to get close to 300 in the 10" with a hundred more pellets in your load than the one I am shooting. Try a cheap Carlson's X-full and see if it makes a difference.

What choke and gun? I average over 300/10 with 1 oz of 8s over 1 oz of 9s from my 12 ga 1187/ Rem .675 combo.

I was getting close to 200 with straight 8s in a lighter load. Ned, did you put the 8s on bottom? Yeah, whats the gun choke?

Was it that little barrel winchester?
