Looks good Doug, even if it ended up costing $3800, I don't know of too many campers you can get like that for that price.

enjoyed reading this. Looked like a pretty good size trailor for $900. Was the water damage the main issue?

yes it was in horrible shape. I didn't want to buy it. my brother said we could gut it and start over. many times we thought we got in over our heads. ended up weighing 3000lbs of ripped out floors, carpet, cabnets, bath ,sinks, tanks etc. that I hauled to dump in three trips.

Outstanding! My wife and myself are impressed. After pretty much gutting a 40's home, remodelling /updating our home the last 2 years, you sure get an appreciation for the work done to get a finished project. It sure gives you a sense of pride, when the project is done.

This is awesome. I don't like the furniture or cabinets or walls in a new camper. Always wanted to restore an old Airstream. This might be a great way to build exactly what I want. Looking for flooded campers.

That would be cool to restore an old Airstream. My S-I-L bought a 32' boat in Texas that had a fire. My wife and me are real interested to go down, and tear into that. It is all interior, so I know we could get it done in around 2 months.

I like the idea of restore. With the cost of new boats and travel trailers spending as little as I did to get what we wanted ( a rolling Bunk house) was just the ticket.

Damn Doug, you would fit right in with all the guys from my lease. I got a pile of deputies and every one of them smoke a large "Dog Turd". I been thinking bout openin a smoke shot next door to Sherrif's dept and 1 near the camp. Lol

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that
