Mushroom hunters are my bane

All it takes for them to do is walk in the woods 2-3 times and it’s toast

I hunted a block management area this year that was beautiful country with a couple nice rolling green hay fields at the base of the mountains. I thought I'd find a bird strutting in the fields or back in the timber somewhere. What I didn't realize was the old farm road (walk in only) was apparently a local favorite for walking dogs. I saw at least a half dozen different people over the course of a morning walking dogs off leash through the fields and no turkeys, and that was on a Thursday.
