LeChameau Chasseurs. Only rubber Wellington style boots I can get on my feet. Baffled zipper is the difference. Expensive, but it's the price I'm willing to pay for dry and comfortable boots. My experience with Gore-tex has been I'd have been better off with holes punched throughout to drain the water out that Gore-tex didn't stop. I zip on Turtle Skin gaiters over the boots for snake proofing.

I really like lacrosse Lagrange boots for hunting the swamps. Recently purchased a pair of Danner snake proof boots to wear on the before daylight walks. The danners are very comfortable to me. I have had some terribley uncomfortable snake boots in the past so I drove to a store that had a lot of different brands and I spent a considerable amount of time trying on different brands and sizes until I decided on danners and glad I did.

I wore Kennetrek mountain boots last season to assist in breaking them in with plans to buy a lighter boot for turkeys. I've not bought any other boots, so I'll be wearing the Kennetreks tomorrow.

I’m only on my second season with the Irish Setter Vaprtreks ......... but so far they’re my favorite.
These are the most expensive boots I’ve bought, for turkey hunting, so that may have something to do with it.

Lacrosse Aerohead Sport Snake boot. Most comfortable boot I've ever worn. Just like tennis shoes. Order a size down from your normal lacrosse size.

Danner Pronghorn snake boots. All it takes is getting bit once by a snake to make wearing them worth it.
