Savage 220A .410 pattern

Post by 2Shooter »

My wife said I was like a kid with a new toy! The weather is bad for patterning a shogun, but I had to see what it would do! 40 yards with the factory fixed full choke, and a 9.5 x 10 duplex load. 179 in 10” and 117 in the 10”-20”. Not bad for a misty rainy day!!

Thanks Brice! Wish I would have had a 12ga 3” that pattered this good in the late 70’s, and 80’s. I would have killed those gobblers that tormented me at 35-40 yards!!! :D

That was with the bead at 40 yards holding dead on the 3” target spot. I was shocked when I walked up to the target, and it was just about spot on.

I know It would be much in your favor but I have a crisp 50 dollar bill I would be willing to part with for the gun and few those loads.
