I know granddads and at least one great granddad that shoot that gun, too. What were the 10" ring counts? Which load--13/16 oz. or 370 grains? Looks good!

My Yildiz has an extremely heavy trigger. Have any of you had yours lightened?

Yes, all the single shots I've had required trigger work. Gil

I have been planning to go visit William with my Yildiz and I think I’ll have him do the same.

The Yildiz .410 single shot is marked "TK-36". The design is copied from the old Beretta 412 series which has been out of production for decades. Midland Company currently makes an all steel blued model for slightly more cost. It is blued and several ounces under 5 lbs. The Yildiz has an anodized alloy action with steel inserts in key areas and with black satin chromed barrel instead of traditional bluing. For my purposes, the anodized receiver and chromed barrel are ideal for corrosion resistance and turkey hunting. If one wants it camo "dipped", fine, but I see no reason to do so other than for personal appeal. One would have to go to a pistol to find a lighter gun. William at Sumtoy has probably converted more than 3 digits of these .410's into dedicated turkey killers. The 412 was originally made in Italy by Beretta, but in the last years of production, it was made by Taurus in Brazil under the Beretta name. Here's an old Beretta advertisement for the gun series. It was made in most gauges. Notice in the first photo of the ad below, the live bird call boxes for hunting song birds. Gil
