20 Ga. Clear Overshot Cards?????
Does anybody know who makes the 20 ga. clear overshot cards? I would like to buy a bunch of them and offer them up to GN members as I have seen several people wanting them.

Still searching, I know somebody makes them because a gentleman just gave me 200 of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, why is there a preference to the clear OSCs?

Actually you can roll a crimp down a lot tighter on them as they are about .070 thick.

And if the 20s are like the 12s, they are frangible, i.e. they shatter upon ignition and get out of the way of the shot. The theory being that they improve patterns compared to cardboard OSCs. Additionally there is no need to waterproof them.

I've had better luck with rolls and patterns with the card board osc than plastic in the 12 gauge

Like FL Strutter above, I have noticed on the 12 ga clear OSC if you don't really crimp it hard initially that over time they will loosen up a little and shot will shake inside the shell. I have not had that problem with paper OSC.

Also sometimes it wouldn't roll enough down to cover air vent hole on osc and buffer would leak out and I was rolling not than 1/4 inch down and load was super tight. I use the thicker red osc from bpi and have had great luck with them.

Any concerns about pressure changes with the .070 clear OSC?

Thanks, I made a couple and will try them out tomorrow.turkeyinstrut wrote: ↑February 11th, 2018, 11:30 amI have talked to a couple of knowledgeable people about this in the past, both said the same thing, not enough difference to be concerned with.

I ordered some from siarm when I ordered my roll crimping tools from them. I’m not sure what shipping would be on just the osc. I think they charged me $45 for two roll crimping tools along with my osc cards.
