6.2L GMC Motor
Anybody have a 6.2L Motor in their GMC or Chevy?
If so, are you running premium gas through it?
It is recommended but not absolutely necessary. I am leaning towards the premium, but know a few people that have zero problems with regular.
I also need a recommendation for a no skid cargo mat for the box. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Re: 6.2L GMC Motor
Thanks, Pedro. That’s what I’ve been hearing. Didn’t know about the long range ramifications, though. i.e. injectors and such.
178k is considerable proof.
Appreciate the reply.

Re: 6.2L GMC Motor
My buddy Rich has the 6.2 LS engine in both of his Vettes. They recommend 93, but not required.
I have a 5.3 LS, and 6.0 LS engine in a couple of my cars. Same thing, and I have run both octanes. Can't really tell the difference, cept maybe using a stopwatch.

Re: 6.2L GMC Motor
Add a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner every so often to a full tank of gas, and you won't have injectors clog .
ever wonder where the white goes when the snow melts??

This is what I had the bed in my new Ram sprayed with:
Spray on Bedliners - REFLEX Premium Truck Bed Protection
Reflex is the premium spray on bedliner for truck bed protection. Sprayed on up to ¼-inch thick, Reflex is durable, long-lasting, and incredibly skid resistant.

This stuff has a pro & con.
Pro: It holds stuff in place really well. I had a salt block & a mineral block sitting near the tailgate for over a week & it didn't slide at all.
Con: It holds stuff in place really well. I keep a large cooler in the back &, when filled with groceries, it takes a lot of effort to move it to the tail gate. I'll be loading up for a trip tomorrow & I know I'll have to get up in the bed to move stuff to the front as opposed to just pushing it on my old bedliner.

Seriously considering having Sal's truck entire thing sprayed with rhino or equivalent. Seen it done and it's awesome.HunterGKS wrote: ↑October 18th, 2017, 11:26 am This is what I had the bed in my new Ram sprayed with:

Re: 6.2L GMC Motor
The truck came with a spray in liner. I’m looking for a rubber mat for the bottom of the box. The spray in liner is a little slippery and really hard on my knees!!

Re: 6.2L GMC Motor
I had a liner installed and put a mat on top, in my Colorado, and also, just like I did in my 3 Fords
