Here's a look at some patterns I've shot today with my Yildiz and a CompNChoke .385 (with my best Factory Full pattern of 10s thrown in for reference); my 370NM load.
40 yds, 10" and 10-20" numbers
10s Factory Full
10s CompNChoke
9x10s (half and half) CompNChoke
9-1/2s CompNChoke
With the CompNChoke, here are the numbers broken down:
Total in 20", 2 shots
9-1/2s: 555
9x10s: 573
10s: 579
Average in 10", 2 shots
10s: 127.5
9x10s: 143.5
9-1/2s: 159.5
Average in 10-20", 2 shots
10s: 162
9x10s: 143
9-1/2s: 118
Averages per size, 2 shots
10s: 10" - 127.5
10s: 10-20" - 162
9x10s: 10" - 143.5
9x10s: 10-20" - 143
9-1/2s: 10" - 159.5
9-1/2s: 10-20" - 118
This load is going 1101 fps MV, so the 10s give 53.6 yds of 1.25" penetration, the 9-1/2s give 60.1 yds, and the 9s give 69.7 yds. It's about 2000 psi under SAAMI.
Given all that, which one would you shoot this fall if you were me?

Re: .410 Yildiz, 370NM, with CompNChoke
I would go with the 9x10's or the 9 1/2's. Have you shot any of these loads at 50 yards? All of my patterns with the 13/16 oz load fall off about 60-65 percent at 50 yards. Steve

9x10
What is the 370NM? Is that a new load?

Feel, don't think. Trust your instincts.

9×10 seems impressive! Fall gobblers may not like that load!

Looks like 9x10s to me

I think it's unanimous on the 9x10s.....
