Spent a nice day with Camoman

Post by Shooter »

On his way to Huntsville, he stopped by and spent the day with me and Rich"Vette dude". On a strange note, I actually met him within a quarter mile where I had my crash.
We went out to eat first, and then spent the rest of the day at the range, before he headed on down to AL.
Shot a little bit of everything, but mostly was concerned on getting his Weatherby singing. It did exceptionally well with all loads, but load
#3 shined above all the rest. 3450 fps, and less than half inch group. YEP, he did the trigger pulling on that one!!!
No flinch Hoobilly,... sorry. :toothy7:
I'm gonna try and tweak it a fuzz while he is in class this week, but I think we are there already. :banghead:
Great guy I must add. I wouldn't mind having him as a regular huntin buddy.
And BTW Grumpy, he's taller than 3' 10". Maybe he can get fireworks after all. Actually, I think he has access to the good stuff, boom boom.
:LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

Thank goodness . The rest of us moderators were worried how he would act out in public representing Gobbler Nation.
Looks like his training kicked in.

I have to say that I had a great time. It was a tad bit short, but none the less a huge learning experience. These boys have a wealth of shooting, reloading and ballistic knowledge. Their passion for their trade is remarkable. I have no doubt my Weatherby will be driving tacts when it gets back to VA.

Thanks to Shooter for all his time and efforts

Hello,

what's your rule regarding using your images on another website? For example, I want to use that image that you attached on my blog. If I give you credit, is it ok?

Well, we shot about 8 rounds last Sunday on my way to Huntsville. Tommy had various test rounds worked up and we ended up finding one my gun liked. I met him Friday at the Alabama / Tennessee line on my way home and I got the finished product. All I can say is WOW, I know they are "just rifle bullets", but they were reloaded by THE LEGEND! I've got enough ammo to last several years now. I am tickled pink! If anyone passes thru that part of TN, you need to hit Tommy up for lunch or something............oh boy can he eat

Thanks,

Kevin
