Bought an API alumilok real cheap. $20 bucks
And it’s in excellent shape. Will be upgrading the strap to a chain and padlock it to a tree for this fall. I also will add bolt on hardware to attach a strap to tighten the bottom of the stand to the tree eliminating wiggle and squeaks.

Re: Tree stand score!
I say their as good today as any out there. I have two of the Loggy Bayou aluminum stands and after owning some of the cheaper versions (all metal) I feel that they cant be beat. for weight and size of the platform.
I just got to find a good spot to hang this one. I wanted to late last fall and could have killed a goodn if I had hung a stand when I seen a group still together. Seen them 5 nights in a row. After the 2nd night I should have hung and hunted the third day. still disgusted with myself over that lol

Re: Tree stand score!
Best stand ever in my mind was aerospace technologies, it was an aluminum stand 6 lbs. All you hung was a chain with 2 foam balls. Chains we're about 20 bucks, climb up in morning, and place stand between balls. Took 2 seconds to get ready in morning. It was great for public as who's gonna steal a chain.
I had six of the balls and chain, no pun intended. And
Sal and I each had a stand. They ended up getting sued by Chippewa wedgeloc but aerospace was a better stand.
