MKW Snakewood/Ivory

I picked up my new snake wood and ivory trumpet today from my buddy MKW. The picture does not do the call justice, Mike did a great job and I couldn't be happier with the call. I am ready to lay this thing across the neck of a dead long beard and take a pic that will do the call justice. A big thanks to Mike for making me another stellar trumpet!

It's CA. It's very hard to get a picture that shows the finish well. It came out fantastic.

Thanks guys, Mike did a great job of making it look good but it sounds good too, just like all his trumpets. I am ready for April 1 so I can get to work with it!

It worked well last season. I know Mike has some more snake wood in his shop, I figured he would be hunting with a snake wood trumpet this spring.

I heard he was in the process of getting it set up but had to get his feel back, worth the wait IMO.

That is the best looking flute I have seen and it looks even better next to those spurs. I am on Mike's list, so maybe I'll get one like that.
