Whos Still at it ?

yep I'm done. Great and disappointing year all at the same time. Called up more birds into shooting range than I ever have, but just couldn't hit one. I was able to finally get a double with my daughter which was awesome.

It took me a while but it was fun, I called in 4 birds and missed 4 different times on 4 different trips to the mountains. Finally after about 8 trips out the 5th. bird called in was the winner. He had a 9 in. beard 15/16 in. spurs and weighed 18.3 pounds. We can only get 1 bird in this area but I have no complaint as my missing shots gave me more time to go out and to be able to call in 5 toms at 5 different times. Great season for me.
