Just got my misfire copper frying pan pot in the mail today. This call is everything Lee said it was. It really has a unique sound and is super easy to run.

It was my pleasure, I expect pictures next spring. I have to get a bunch of those made up before Nashville, as well as a ton of trumpets.

FYI- A copper surface is faster to oxidize/tarnish than any metal surface with which I have hunted (there is always a copper pot in my vest). A small square of the brown Scotch Brite pad and a soft clean cloth, a square of an old cotton T-shirt or even better a sweat shirt, works great to maintain the surface. Frequent touch-up of the striker tip to remove copper is also a must. I have about 5 copper pot calls and have a couple which will cause jaw pain when you run them and really drive gobblers crazy.

Several years ago Lee made me a pot out of stabilized greenish Buckeye Burl with frying pan copper and it looks beautiful and sounds great. He has it on his web page!

I can send a soundfile to a cell number. Not smart enough to figure out how to do one on a computer

I have a few ready to go now. Just moved this past weekend, so the shop isn't set up yet. Hope to have it back up and running in a week or so
