I thought I saw the belt available in Cabelas catalog. Also, if you have connections do something about the shipping! I wanted the 15$ slate holder and it was 17.50$ to ship. ouch.

I started hunting one lord knows how long ago when they were Tarantuala.. I have one of the new ones and put the additional slate holder opposite the call keeper..

How do you like it? I have been thinking about one for awhile. I have the cabelas speed seat and I like it. Just needs a handy place to keep strikers.

The striker holder on the slate call pouch is the best I have ever seen secure yet accessible for running and gunning.. I added that to the belt.. I wanted an extra spot to hold an additional slate, the striker holders on the call keeper end are nice but require zipping..
The box call holder holds a water.. The box call holder on the Call Keeper holds a thermacell perfectly.
Most days I hunt with just a mouth call and a tube but days I feel I may run friction I run the belt, great alternative to a vest..

The seat is alright had better had worse, but going from no seat to the days I wear it, its more than adequate.. Really wish I could sit down with them and design a better belt they are close.

I too have the run n gun belt.
seat sucked so I rigged a foam to work with the thin one it came with.

used it for 3 years until i tried the dixon vest on.

my son has used the belt since then, has held up quite well
