I'll be in Ga. opening morning, hopefully....
I had the most amazing day in the woods today...got out later than I wanted to, saw 11 male birds, probably all jakes but I'm not 100%...Then I had two jakes and a massive longbeard come in and after an hour and half of them being around me,as soon as I felt it was safe to snubk out...the longbeard came within 10 feet of me.......he even gobbled........headed out in the morning for round 2....I learned how to yelp like a jake with my natural voice , it was awesome...had them dying....and I learned I need to re-position myself i I want to kill a bird, the spot I'm in is great but if I moved a hair I'd be able to kill them coming in and not as they pass by me.........

Checked cams here in Georgia today and had a good flock of hens and some jakes on camera. Hopefully the long beards will show up soon.

Scouted this afternoon also. Didn't see any turkeys but had several pictures of them on the trail cam.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that
