almost could be a double beard but just not enough seperation.

Agree on it not being a double beard. A not uncommon condition from birds fighting, and catching a spur in that area. Still a nice Tom.

Dang, it's close! One good indication is if, both beards are the exact same length, probably a split beard.
Multi beards are usually different lengths, but not always.
