- You can't tell by looking at the pics, but there are two aglets center ways of the bill on both sides. I have the band secured there to keep it from moving. This also makes it easy to remove. In case I want to hunt with the hat.

That looks good.
I made one just like it several years ago. The first time I wore it I called in a mad hen with a gobbler following her. She got to 25 yds looked straight at me and began to putt and go the other way taking the tom with her so I never wore it again. Not sure if it was the hat or the spurs. I hope if you wear yours hunting you have better luck.
