Paracord Archery Wrist Sling (added a few extra pics)

Post by slickyboyboo »

Figured I might as well move this over from the other section.

Just got a wild hair and decided to make a wrist sling for my new bow, and figured it couldn't be too hard. This was my first ever attempt at making anything with paracord, and I thought it turned out quite well.

Barry,

Nice looking piece. Did you use an extisting pattern for this, or did you let form follow function and just make it as it needed to be?

Not hard at all, actually a bracelet would be easier than the wrist sling is to make.

That is a B-stinger ProHunter 8" with an 11 oz disk weight on the end. They come in different lengths and weights.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.

Yeah, my whole family is Black Bear college alumni, except for myself. My dad said, when they made the switch from Colonel Reb to the Black Bear, that he would be a Bulldog supporter from now on. LOL

Thanks! I'm planning on making a few, here before too long, just trying to decide what knot I want to use. I will definitely let you know when I get to building them.

Here are some I finished up for some members on our MS hunting forum.

I got some ideas for turkey totes, and plan to give them a try here before long when I get a bit more free time.

Someone wanted the one I had on my bow, so I had to make me a new one. Tried something different, and it worked great.

Would y'all be interested in having a bit of HiViz Orange on your tote, to keep you from getting sniped by another hunter, when you are toting a bird out?

I don't need the orange color. If I get sniped, I'm pretty sure I had it coming.
