Blackstone Griddle

Post by Hobbes_mobile »

I finally got my hands on a Blackstone Griddle. Its a Father's Day gift, but I selected the one I wanted. I didn't really need one of the bigger ones, but did like the idea of a sideburner and taking the whole thing camping. I went with the 17" tabletop w/ sideburner stovetop & fryer. I'm hoping to use it this weekend.

I'm assembling now with help.

I tried burgers on it last night in camp. I've got two New York Strip steaks that we'll be cooking tonight with fried potatoes in camp as well. I'll try my hand at breakfast tomorrow morning. I'll get more creative when I have more time to plan.

That's the size I have been considering with the side burner. Its been tempting me too pull the trigger on it. Just hard to get away from my 12" castiron.

I thought so too. I'm planning to use it for turkey nuggets soon on my back patio.. I always hate deep frying in the house.

That's the plan, but I'll probably add some"Slap yo' Momma" Cajun seasoning, at least to my half.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I am actually going to look at one today. We need one for deer camp and I think that one is the ticket
