bigeye tuna steak

Post by WoodMoose »

I know it's not turkey, but hey - they only let me kill but so many of those!

went out in the deep earlier this month (twice actually - glutton for waves)

Seasoned with some “garlic - jalapeño rub” my youngest gave me

Flash sautéed in a bit of oil

Served with “wasaaasaaabeee”!!

Good eats

Made locally there in MS where my daughter works - seems this Heath Riles is some multiple winner of BBQ contests

Don't know if that’s anything, but this is good on fish and vegetables so far

Hard to beat fresh out of the water seafood. That's 1 of the things I miss about living in FL. I
had my own boat & spent a lot of time on Tampa Bay & some on the Gulf. I also did a lot of
surf fishing in the Atlantic at Cocoa Beach.

Thx.

We did some Gulf fishing when I was down there. A first got me. Never ocean fished before. I’m a freshwater guy! Caught grouper and several types of snapper. 28 miles out of Marco. It was different fishing than anything I’ve ever done. Great fun and beautiful blue water! Very tasty!
