I release them all usually unless I hook 1 deep then I'll keep it to eat. I prefer the channel cats about 5 to 10 pounds to eat. I caught a 54 here a few years ago and released it also . Just what I like doing. Only 1 17 pounder tonight so far.

Yeah took me several minutes to land him, he fought hard and then the picture session, guess he was just tied but they don't move real fast anyway they just lazy predators
