Largest Bass you have ever caught

Post by slickyboyboo »

Turkey season is over here, and its about time to wet a hook. It light of this, lets see some big fish! I said Bass as a general term, because I know some live where the Largemouth are big, and others where the Smallies thrive, so post them up!

Here is mine, caught it on July 14, 2007 weighed 10.25 lbs, however it was a really good day on the water, because I caught another one a short time later that was 9.9 lbs (but I had to let her go)

Here is my largest Smallmouth at 6 1/2. Lily's biggest Crappie, at 2 lbs. She has caught a 9 lb Bass, have the pic framed in the house, but can't find it on the computer.
The one pic is Lily's first topwater Bass at 3 lbs. in the weeds.

10 lb 2 oz largemouth in Alabama. Out of a cotton field irrigation pond. Weighed on Berkley scales & released. I had already picked out a place on my wall @ home to put it but since I was a guest I had to release it. It about killed me. It was the biggest bass I've ever seen . :(

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Here's Fl's 5' king caught on my pole but I got a lil drunk and all I wanted to do was lay in the sand and sleep so I gave her my line, lol...
I woke up to watch her bring it in, it was one hell of a fight....

Being the thread is on biggest Bass, I don't have much to brag about. Our Bass here just don't get that big. The state record is 10#s and change. My biggest isn't even 6#s. I saw pics of 20 pound Bass fron California, and couldn't believe it. Just how is it possible to get that much weight on a fish of that length? Looked kind of freaky.
