Most of those are white crappie. The one in the middle, on the bottom row, is a Black Crappie.
There are 3 others,... can you find them??

Nice catch by the way. Ain't nothin like a mess of Bluegill or Crappie.

I'm not for sure if I have caught a redbreast or not out of the Tennesse River. I fish the creeks a lot and have caught what might be redbreast. I've just always called them sunfish but, they did have the red underside. I don't know the correct names to alot of the pan fish.

They are considered the prize in the Bluegill family.
I have never caught one, but I saw a guy fishing in Crow Creek, near Stevenson, off of the main river.
He had a basket full.
They look like a Bluegill, but where they are yellowish orange, the Redbreast is more red.

LOL, yea I fish the weeds right close to the bridge. I put in at Coon Creek outfitters and stay in that big open area where the Osprey's have that nest on top of the electric towers.
Love them topwater frogs.

These 2 came out of crow creek up around the park back in the 90's when I used to fish a good bit.....us locals prettymuch had it to ourselves back then. My wife seems to think they look a lot better in the garage now for some reason

I have not done very good on the other side of the bridge where all the lily pads are, but we got the millfoil figured out,...lol My wife caught a 9+lb just past the Osprey's where the cut makes a circle and comes back, last september.

Those look like some good ones. How far are you from there?

I'm just about ten miles or so from there. Our young lives used to revolve around Mud Creek and Crow Creek back in the day. There's a deep (deep by crow creek standards anyway) hole up past the park where we used to catch some big fish every spring. Friend of mine hung probably the biggest bass I've ever seen there once in a tournament but we lost her.
Do you stay in Crow or do you ever go fish mud creek and town creek? They're a little deeper and seem to be a little less fickle to me

Oh yea, I fish pretty much everywhere down there. I fish several FLW tournaments a year on Lake G.
Should not have told me about that hole,...lol just kiddin.
I like Crow creek, cause it is closest to my home on Woods Reservoir, maybe 45 to 50 min drive.
We don't have the weeds, and I love em.

LOL, this pic look familiar???

It's pretty easy to find shooter...... From the park just head west/northwest and start counting. After you hit stump #217, you'll know you're right there

LOL, yea I just love stumps with my Cheap custom prop.
Figured you would recognize the area there at the bridge and boat ramp.

Holler at me sometime, you can meet me for an afternoon fishing trip there. The weeds should be just about ready to pull some Hawgs out of.
