Won a gun at the NWTF banquet

Post by honker22 »

I got drawn 3rd and unfortunately the good guns were taken. It was between this Tristar 410, a silverware set, and an ice chest. I went with the gun and it may be the smallest shotgun I've ever seen. I have never heard of a tristar until now. Should make a good snake gun that I can almost fit in my pocket.

that ice chest if it was like our banquet was a yeti I surely would have took that. I just have no use for a .410

I think I would've took the cooler too. I didn't go this year and I got skunked last year, but the three years before that I got lucky as heck. I won a H&R single 410, then a Ruger SR9C the next year, and a Remington Versamax the following year. My luck ran out, so I quit going, lol.

That's a nasty little .410, someone on here has one topped with a reddot.....I'm going to pick one up after this season and trick it out. Think they are @$130

The ice chest was NOT a yeti. It was some medium sized soft chest, I think it was a Coleman.

Congrats on the win, last night at a banquet and was able to take a close look at one of those. You're right it could almost fit in your pocket, make a good truck gun or a youth starter for squirrels.

They work great on ditch chikens aka Chinese ringneck pheasants, that squat in the ditch to hide.

I actually contacted triStar about them a few days ago and they are not for sale to the public. Only way to get them is thru the NWTF. I think they are identical to the Yildiz but the Yildiz is alot shinier

Great gun for any kid, might be a fun squirrel gun too.

I like that little folder...but as someone said...really don't have a use for it other than a snake gun...but my hickory stick works wonders on a snakes head...
