If you haven’t shot the Winchester Deer Season XP ammo, you should
For a factory load they have been shooting excellent in our 308, 243 and 6.5CM

You can add .270 win to that list as well. They are true shooters

I like a good shooting 270
Re: Remington 700 DM sight in
Me too buddy. I love them. Nice flat shooter, they are a bit underated. Not much on legs that can take a good shot out of one.

Heck yea, that is an awesome piece! I actually prefer bolts in center fire and rimfire for that matter. My current rig is a AB3 in the .270 platform. That said the Safari II would probably shift me over to the auto side if I were in the market. My buddy preferred his to the A bolt. Those BAR guns in all configurations are really hard to beat. In all honesty, I just like working the bolt.

Let's not forget about us 7 mag folks!!! Only for a short period though...I much rather prefer my Mathews Traverse!!!

Mathews? Figured you for a Hoyt guy.
Ive owned one Mathews. Never again
Been shooting Athens since they came out.
7mag DM has to be worth some money now
Re: Remington 700 DM sight in
We can't use rifles here for deer, I am a compound man myself. Haven't shot a gun at a deer in over 20 years. If the Mathews can't kill it, they get to walk.
Traverse is a great bow. I am currently shooting a Creed XS. I almost bought a traverse last year. But passed as the creed was only 3 years old and I shoot it well, but the string angle is a bit uncomfortable. So I am now waiting on my new VXR with 31.5 axel to axel to arrive

I love bow hunting. But when it’s gun season I’m not gonna sit in the tree and have a 160” 8 point at 80 yards away on opening morning of firearm season ever again. Been there done that. I want to kill a goodn, not just sit and watch him chase a doe all morning. True storyjsh909 wrote: ↑September 18th, 2020, 9:11 am

Absolutely bud! I have no problem whatsoever with people using guns for white tail. I just chose not to here in Ohio. Out of state would be different on bigger specieshoobilly wrote: ↑September 18th, 2020, 1:09 pmI love bow hunting.
