Pistol grip stock

Post by Tidewater Tom »

I'm working on putting together a Mossberg 835 turkey gun. I want to replace the wood forend and stock with synthetic. The stock I'm looking at is an ATI pistol grip stock like the one in the link. Has anyone used this stock? What do you think of it? Any other pistol grip stock recommendations for the 835?

I had one and didn't care for it. I prefer this one. And the recoil reducing feature is a bonus.

I put one like that on my Mossberg 500 20 gauge that was camo dipped to match my gun. Took it off after 5 minutes. I just didn't like the way it felt or handled, and I really wanted a pistol grip. Couldn't get there, went back to a traditional stock. But while not for me, it was total quality.

If I was going for a pistol grip stock I would get a adjustable AR style Stock.
