I used a slip on limbsaver on a SBE steady grip that I cut down and didn't have a way for a regular pad to work. I would be surprised if they didn't make a limbsaver pad for a SBE3

I looked that up and it seems to be the type that uses screws to mount???

I didn't go to the actual Limbsaver website. just images online I found where they are for sale.
