Who is shooting the 20 ga MOA load at 2-1/8 oz? Any issues?
I am shooting the 1-5/8oz load now, but if some is good, more is better
2-1/8 oz MOA
Re: 2-1/8 oz MOA
I have some loaded up I am probably going to shoot tomo. I shoot the 1-5/8 oz 9 shot now. But I am only hoping to get good pattern out of the MOA to shoot 8 shot instead of 9s so I dnt expect more pellets on target, just bigger pellets

I will only shoot it out my 870 tho, I think it might be too brutal to my M2

I had that attitude too when I first started using TSS a decade ago. I don't believe you will ever kill a turkey with the bigger load that you would not have killed with your current load.
But have fun if you switch.

I loaded one shell with the MOA load last spring. Shot it and won’t shoot any more. Holy Moly...a lot of kick plus it blew the bolt handle out. Too much for me and my Weatherby SA459.

I reduce to 2 oz. Shoot them a lot and like it. I didnt feel like the kick was bad considering. Put me in the 400s at 40.

I'm with you. I like TSS because I can shoot smaller sized shot and lighter payloads ... in a 20 ga gun and not give up any lethality. My son and I have been shooting 1 5/16 oz loads for over 4 years with no complaints.poorcountrypreacher wrote: ↑February 19th, 2019, 5:20 pmI had that attitude too when I first started using TSS a decade ago.
