Re: New 12 ga
I have an 11-87 SPST & an 11-87 slug gun. Both are 3" but I would expect
the 3 1/2" would be just as reliable. I have not had any issues with either
& would recommend an 11-87.

If you aren’t set on new, the used gun market would be the place to look. There are great bargains to be found in what you are searching for.

Have had both the 1187 and v3. ..both were very reliable never had a problem with either....just want to try something different.
Have had an sbe2 sx4 935.....all worked great espacially the sx4....i just like switching guns.... Have a couple of 20's a 28 and 410 but always like having a 12 in the mix.....dont mind a used gun...where would you point me to to look?anything besides gunsamerica or gunbroker?

Re: New 12 ga
I’ve been shooting a Stoeger 3000 for over 12 years, the 3” version. It has been a great gun shooting dove loads to goose and turkey loads.
