Italian made folding 20ga single

Post by Turkinator »

Anyone have any experience with these? I'm thinking about having this one threaded for choke tubes if possible.

In a reprint of a 1901 gun catalog (W.&J. Davis, Birmingham), there is a folding single shot .410 of the type shown above.

they call it their "ORNITHOLOGIST'S" GUN, 30" barrel, open choke
"It makes a first class pattern, the penetration is good, and it kills well at 35 yards"

from their description it appears to have been offered for sale before 1901.
