FF3- 3 moa or 8 moa
What are you guys shooting? I’m leaning towards the 3 moa.

3 for sure.

I like the 3 MOA, the dot on the 3 only covers 1.5" at 50 yards and the dot on the 8 will cover 4" at 50 which is too big IMO.
Re: FF3- 3 moa or 8 moa
I understand the "aim small, miss small" theory behind the 3 moa vs. the 8 moa, but I find that the 8 works fine at turkey ranges. At 40 yards, 8 moa covers a 3.2" disk and 3 moa, a 1.2" disk. I've used 1, 3, 6 and 8 moa and centering poa isn't a problem with 8.

Look at them in person. The smaller dots tend to flare more. You may get better precision with a bigger dot. It depends on your eyes and the particular sight.
I bought the smaller dot thinking it would flare, but at least the flare would be smaller. It works, but I probably won't buy another. I bought a $20 red dot for one of the kids that actually looks better. It is supposedly 4 MOA. I would use one, but I have no confidence in durability for $20. Next purchase will be a 7.5 MOA triangle dot. The filter they use to make the round dot into a delta filters out almost all of the flare.
Brands represented here are Burris, Fieldsport and Leupold.

Personal choice. Either is fine...I’ve got both. Vastly prefer the 8 MOA for a scattergun. Much quicker acquisition for me with the 8. If the 8 is obscuring too much of a turkey, he’s either too far or too small to shoot.

i used an 8 for 3 seasons and then switched to 3. I like the 3 better. The increased precision can be handy when picking a hole in thick woods.

Re: FF3- 3 moa or 8 moa
I think it depends on your eyes. I have an 8 for both of my turkey guns and wouldn't want anything smaller. But I have a really bad astigmatism and someone with good eyes might be just fine with a 3. I have a Mueller on my bow, and I had trouble seeing the 4 dot with it when hunting. It has a crosshair alternative and I switched to it and can see it ok.
If I still had good eyes, I wouldn't use anything except the fiber optics that mount low on the rib. I used those for years, but I got to where my eyes won't focus on them and had to go to electronic sights.
