Re: Crow ammo
Poison corn.
Crow ammo
Remington 1 1/4oz 1330 #6’s, Fiocchi 1 1/4oz 1330 fps #6’, and if I can catch them on sale the Federal 1500fps 1 1/4 6’s or 7.5’s with factory IM in my A5. Lighter stuff does work up close, but once they flare they are hard to bring down.

Re: Crow ammo
A quality trap load of hard 7.5s at 1200 fps or its handloaded equivalent and a mod choke kills 'em fine to 40 yds. If you routinely shoot beyond that range, 1.25 oz of hard 6s at 1300+ fps and an IM or full probably works better, but I don't care for the recoil.

1300fps 1 1/8oz 7.5 lead has killed numerous.
Re: Crow ammo
Remington Express 20ga 2 3/4 dram powder and 1oz of 6's
Re: Crow ammo
I like the Winchester AA high velocity >1300 fps Sporting Clays or Pigeon loads or the Fiocchi 11/4 ounce 6's. I usually start w/ 71/2' and may go to 6's once I see how the birds are working and on heavy feathered late- season birds. A few summers ago I decided to burn some of my "old" lead waterfowl loads at crows, but while shooting them wearing a heavy padded jacket may be OK, I don't recommend shooting them w/ a light summer shirt, especially due to the elevated angle of most crow shots.
