Yeah, it's hard to tell because small differences up close make big ones further away. Add it being a muzzleloader and you've really accomplished something by the time you get it all lined out.

Interesting results. First off. Wondering why your POI changed in a week? But stuff like that happens. So important to shoot your weapon before a hunt.
Second.. Glad to see that the 100 shot was not appreciably low. I expected it to be a tad higher than that, though. A person can live with that!!
Third.. I would say that you are good to go, Billie! Good luck with the hunt!

good shooting - now if my flintlock shot like that I'd be in business........

With all due respect, that shot at 100” is not 2” low! I agree that it’s not as high as I thought it would be but it’s not 2” low!
It is close enough to being dead on at 100’ to satisfy most.
I don’t understand your logic. :dontknow:

Like I said, hold it on him, and bust him. Out to 125 yards. Been there before.

You were the most accurate brother......don't concede.
My post wasnt intended towards you at all or anyone else for that matter, and sounds more conceited than I meant it to be. I have been through this with Barnes expanders, same bullet for all intents and purposes. Sight it in around .5 to 1 inch high at 50, and you are golden to 125. Past that, you need to pay more attention. Hognutz, you had a good observation.

No worries!! Nothing in my post is/was directed at you, VALongbeard. I appreciate your kind words!
I guess that 2shooter figured that this was a contest with a distinct winner and loser, and according to his math, I am the loser. I get that.
I offered MY opinion as to where it would shoot. That’s what Red asked for. Again. Just trying to help.
Oh well. Nice to be judged by a guy that had ZERO input in the thread.
Ok. I’m better now!!

I can see where that would make a difference! That clears things up some. It appeared to me that you were bustin’ my balls and I really didn’t want any part of that!
I understand what happened and my balls feel better!
It’s all good, 2shooter. It’s all good.
