Even patterns

Post by Zombie1978 »

Looking a combo for my Mossy 835 that will through a even pattern. I have tried chokes from .670 to .695 and can't get a good even pattern. Please post pics of your even patterns.

I have tried longbeards #4,5. I have tried the Hevi magblends. The best pattern is with the factory choke and #5 federal thugs and strut shock.

Wow. As much as I don't like any Mossberg, the 835 patterns as well as any. You may get some help by using the search function on this sight.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Polish your barrel, that tends to help a bunch.

How short is the barrel'?
We've had some difficulty finding a good load even with a Stardot choke in my dads 835. The barrel is super short. Even a buddy of mine commented on it the other day.
