red dot for sxs

anyone know how to attach a red dot to a cz sxs? specifically the hammer classic I emailed cz and they told me that the rib on there doubles are hollow so they wont hold enough threads to attach a sight.

My cz is hollow and a gunsmith drilled and tapped it. Put a ff3 on it. Shot 25 magnum turkey loads. Still holding.

In addition to the screws, probably not a bad idea to Loctite the base to the rib.

ok well I'm going to go ahead and get it tapped. Thanks for the help ill let you know how it turns out
