Joined the 28's

After searching for a 28 in the al48 that I could actually afford. Turkey slayer reminded me of cabelas gun library. I looked there and BAM there it was. Had it shipped from Georgia to Bristol va. Slayer and I slipped out to cabelas yesterday and picked it up. Got it for 783$ out the door. It's a new/blemished gun due to 2 scratches on left side of the receiver.

I've got it boxed up with a note and check inside. Monday she is heading back south to sumtoy customs where I'm having him drill tap and mount 1 of his Burris style 336 bases and also making 1 of his chokes for the gun in a .520 constriction. Gonna top it with a vortex venom when it returns.

The gun DID come with a factory full but getting sumtoy to make a .520 to try Too

Cool. Keep us posted. I'm interested to see how it does. I know the Briley XF in mine was way too tight.
1-5/16 averaged around 180....factory full will do 240's. With the 1-1/2 oz load, the full averaged around 230, XF around 220.
