Fastfire 3 Covers

Post by mote1977 »

Just a heads up to anyone looking for great covers for their FF3. These things are awesome. I ordered 2 and I love them. They fit perfectly. They also stay in place well but are easy to remove in a hurry. They fit with the Warbird FF3 guard in place as well.

The ones that come with the FFIII aren't bad with the added feature that they don't have to be removed for shooting in bad weather. Has anyone seen the effects of a rain drop on the led emitter in an FFIII? I haven't but I can imagine what it would do to distort the dot.

I had some water on my FastfireII. It does very bad things. If it hits it right you have no dot at all.

The fact that you can shoot with the cover on is one of the features that I like about the FF3. I rarely take mine off to even shoot.

I leave my cover on all the time, too.
