20 Gauge WLB Shells - Availability

Several folks have asked me when the the new 20 Gauge WLB shells would be available. I contacted Winchester today to ask that question. I just got an email last night and wanted pass along what I learned.

It's kind of a crazy time for them right now, getting ready to leave for the SHOT Show this weekend. The best answer at the present time is "In time for turkey season." They promised to give me a better date as soon as they had one.

I expect that after SHOT they'll have a more definite release date. My thoughts are that they'll either be released just after SHOT or at the NWTF Convention in February.

In the mean time, as soon as the weather allows and I can get to the range, I'll try both the #5 and #6 shot shells that I have and let you all know how they perform.

Just wanted to give you an update from the "inside" on these shells.........I work for a major shooting sports distributor and we still haven't received a shipment of them yet to get to the retailers.
No date for first delivery listed either.

Not "good" news.....but news.
