Good gun dipper
Could y'all recommend me a good gun dipper that you have had dealings with? I have a buddy wgo is wanting to get a couple done and I told him I would pass the word along. I've heard of several, but it's kinda hSrd to choose who would be best. Appreciate any and all replies. Thanks fellers. Oh and he is wanting new bottomland pattern so they must be able to do so.

Angert's Hydrographics
He does all my deer skulls, etc. I just had a Tikka CTR dipped in Kryptec reduced. Just got it back yesterday. Flawless. He stands by his work with a lifetime warranty.
Fresh from the dip tank (it's wet, that's why it's glossy):

I have been kicking around having Rob Roberts dip some stuff for me. What's the deal with them. I've not seen any of his work so I don't know.

TNT Custom Camo:
Cpt Tom can do all the Mossy Oak patterns and is happy to dip them horizontal or vertically.

Yep, TNT does all mine, I think I've had 5 hydro'd by him, and all are flawless.
Re: Good gun dipper
I have used KC Custom Coatings. They are a little expensive but i love the dura touch they add to the stock. It makes the stock feel like the old brownings with the coating that felt like rubber.
Re: Good gun dipper
Hart, can you post pics of the other guns you have had dipped in bottomland by tnt? I'm wantingsome of mine done and remember you have several done by him. I can't decide on horizontal or vertical
Re: Good gun dipper
also, anyone know if the steady grip will fit a m2 20?

Another vote for TNT. Here is one he did for me last year.

Dipping is fine, but for the ultimate protection
Have a clear, matte cerakote applied to the dipped gun. It will keep it from chipping/rubnling
Off much better.

I am quite fond of my full camo cerakote by Black Doves Customs. Has been very durable so far.K9Doc wrote:Dipping is fine, but for the ultimate protection
