Are Federal 3rd Degree turkey loads worth a try???

For just a few dollars difference per box you can get the Fed HW 7's and have a real turkey load. Bet they will sell the 3rd degree shells by the truckload anyway. Some folks just can't understand.

a friend of mine bought a box to try. at 40yds it was equal to shooting an empty shell.

My buddy's son uses them and loves them. Get a great pattern all the way to 40 yards with them. He on the other hand did not. Guess like everything else, it's going to depend on the gun and choke combo.
