I seem to have bad luck with Opticplanet and their delivery. I just recently placed an order for an item that showed in stock and for a good price. After a week I decided to check on it. But they told me it was on back order. I asked when I could expect it and was told it might be a week, a month or maybe a year. I canceled the item and ordered somewhere else

That is a good deal, hopefully if someone places an order it wont take to long to get it.

I've never had an issue with opticsplanet.com, they have always had quick shipping with my order, and have always had everything in stock. There was another optics place a few years ago called opticsale.com, and it was a crap shoot if products were in stock, and they would put you on back order, or just cancel your order out of the blue.

I just looked at my email to make sure I didn't give a false statement. It was Opticsplanet. The item was a Vortex Venom. Started out as in stock, then went to 1-7 days, then was told it could be a another week, a month, or could be a year, depending on when they get their order. And this is not the first time I've had issues with them. But To be fair I have have some good dealings with them as well.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from OpticsPlanet and only had a delay once. They were apologetic and offered a refund but it only took a couple of days longer to get the sights. I really like all of their discounts.
