will the Vortex Venom and Leupold Deltapoint mount like a Burris FF3 on a Marlin 336 mount?

buddy on Facebook has a Vortex Razor and the it has the same style 2 set screws for mounting to a base. Does not have the holes for the 336 base to fit on it snug. no biggie as the little pegs could be ground off and used as long as the Razor mounts the same.

Did not even thing about the pegs. I don't see grinding them off being a problem either. How does your buddy like the razor?

done some looking and found the Redfield-Leupold red dot sight. pretty cheap compared to the others. I may buy one and see how it holds up. RedField Leupold warranties are awesome

I like mine so far, it came with everything to mount on my Pic-tinny rail on my benelli. It mounts to anything the FF3 will so I dont see why it woulndt mount on the 336 rail..
