Giant Killed by gobblerD

Post by Gobbler »

Went Deer hunting and harvested the biggest smallest Buck I ever killed. So far this year I have put three does and this monster in the freezer and in the fryer( Thanks to brother and daughter shooting most the deer).
Had a great time freezing in Georgia and building fires and shooting Deer. I may go back up to try to fill my last tag with another buck.
Here are pictures of the Giant 4 pt.

Better eating that a big stinkin' one you would put all the same work into and then feeding it to the dumpster next summer.

No doubt. I always donate the meat if I'm lucky enough to kill a big one, and kill a youngish doe for myself.

That is a good one for a Florida guy Doug. Which I guess is like saying "she's pretty hot to be with a fat guy." :D

Did i mention it was a hell of a split second shot . The buck was coming down the hill at a fast pace and I had to make an unbelievable shot through one last opening at close to 80 yards. Off hand ( NO shooting vise like you gadget guys carry around on the outdoor channel.) I was half way down my ladder stand when this happened ...so I hooked one foot to a run and leaned out and took the shot. All while texting to my brother that I was getting down early.
