Contest's Best Picture
Contest's Best Picture
MKW PMed me and wants to award one of his AWESOME trumpet calls to the person in the contest that posts the best picture from the contest killed this spring. This will be a contest within the contest.
I want to thank MKW for this. He builds a beautiful quality call.
He will keep track with our help on the best picture and award the call at the end of the contest during the online awards banquet.
Mike will post pictures of the call soon in this thread.
Again Thank you Mike.

Re: Highest Scoring Gobbler
I lay em down big, so an actual prize I have a legit chance for, and a fine one at that. I'm excited.
Re: Highest Scoring Gobbler
that's awesome Mike makes a great call.

Re: Highest Scoring Gobbler
Thanks fellas! I really like this sight and want to contribute. I'm gonna talk it over with Gobbler, but I'm considering doing a "best picture" contest rather than a "NWTF scoring" deal. What do y'all think would be better?? I think the picture thing might be more fun and you might could win with a 2yr old and a nice picture.

Re: Highest Scoring Gobbler
I think either way would be fine. If you go with best picture you could let the Mod's and MKW pick out the top three or so, then let the members vote on the best of the best. Just an idea.

Re: Highest Scoring Gobbler
That was pretty much what I was thinking...have a sticky thread where folks in the contest could submit one photo per turkey entered, and at the end I'd pick my top 3 and put up a poll where the rest of the contest participants could pick the overall winner.guesswho wrote:I think either way would be fine. It sounds like somebody don't need a trumpet, 'cause he's already good at tooting his OWN horn.Jaybird wrote:I photograph real well compared to the basic "Ugly" on this Site. Re: Contest's Best Picture
I'm not sure. I have one of Mikes Trumpets and would love to have another one, but I'm going to exclude myself either way. I don't want to hurt anyones chances of winning one of MKW's trumpets.ICDEDTURKES wrote:SO is this thing for contest participants only or for all members of the forum?

Re: Contest's Best Picture
This is great news. Another in a long line of prizes I will win this season!
Seriously, very sweet contest. I want to buy one of his horns anyway after hearing Roy play it. A chance to win one is awesome! Thanks Mike and Doug.
